Overview

New RNGD Headquarters Showcases Vertically Integrated Expertise

The construction of RNGD’s new regional headquarters is a testament to the efficiencies that can be gained through a vertically integrated construction process.

Delivered in just 192 days, this signature multi-building campus exemplifies the company’s industry-leading expertise in construction, structural steel fabrication, and the manufacture of prefabricated wall panels.

Using a next-generation DfMA (design for manufacture and assembly) delivery model, the RNGD team pioneered an innovative process for manufacturing and assembling the exterior wall panels and steel structure in-house before installing them on the project.

This innovative approach accelerated the overall construction schedule while improving efficiency, reducing waste, enhancing safety, and setting a new standard for future building projects.

A Connected Workplace

Located on a redeveloped 8-acre urban site in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, the interconnected campus is purpose-built to accommodate all RNGD operating divisions and serve as home base for the company’s 165+ regional employees.

The development includes a 30,000-square-foot office building, a 25,000-square-foot training center, an expanded 80,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, a 10,000-square-foot tool and logistics warehouse, and a 5,000-square-foot mechanic shop. A 6-acre adjacent property functions as a construction laydown yard for storing heavy equipment and supplies, as well as providing space for future expansion.

By facilitating cross-functional collaboration among RNGD’s Building, Infrastructure, Steel, and Prefabrication teams, the new headquarters advances the company’s mission to innovate.

A Space Designed for Collaboration, Innovation, and Sustainability

Designed with an open concept, the office building incorporates desk fluidity, private spaces, and a collaborative zone—designated ‘The Helm’—for team members to gather for meetings and casual interactions. A dedicated mock-up room enables teams to showcase prefab components to clients and partners as the company increases the integration of these elements into future projects.

To form the office building’s 25-foot central feature, the construction team carved out the center of the structure and installed a floor-to-roof glass connector, creating an open, inviting space for employees and visitors.

A state-of-the-art training facility for Renegade Academy, RNGD’s award-winning professional development program, includes a tiered-seating lecture hall and a gym.

The project also championed sustainability by incorporating reclaimed materials, including wood from another project that was de-nailed, milled, and repurposed to create ceiling panels in the boardroom and cladding for phone pods.
